SASO Cosmetic Analysis

Cosmetics and Personal Care Products in accordance with the standards of GSO 1943/2016 “Safety Requirements for Cosmetics and Personal Care Products” and GSO 2528/2016 “Technical Regulation for Cosmetics and Personal Care Products Claims”; It can be offered for sale within the borders of Saudi Arabia.

Features sought in Cosmetics and Personal Care Products within the scope of the above standards;

- Compliance with GSO 1943 (Cosmetic Safety)
- Compliance with GSO 2528 (Cosmetic Product Claims)
- Absence of pork or its derivatives in the products
- Arabic labeling
- Should not make medical claims
- The product image and advertising materials should be in accordance with social traditions
- Features related to alcohol-based products: prohibition of alcohol in mouthwash, special classification should be made for alcohol-based hand disinfectants.
