After Shave Lotions Analysis

After Shave Lotions Analysis

There are two different types of shaving lotions, pre-shave and post-shave. Pre-shave lotion is generally preferred when using a shaver before shaving. It facilitates shaving by enabling the hairs to rise from the skin surface.

Aftershave lotions are used to refresh and soften the skin after shaving. It prevents the formation of irritation by closing the pores after shaving.

Aftershaves, like all shaving products, must pass tests for irritation, allergy, stability and shelf life.
