Non-Comedogenic Test
Knowing your skin type is especially important in choosing the care and make-up materials you will use. If you have acne and acne-prone skin, you should pay attention to whether the cosmetics and personal care products you will use are comogenic.
So what does comedogenic cosmetics mean? How do we know if a product is non-comedogenic?
Comedone is formed when the oil layer under the skin and the external dirt layer combine and block the pores. The word comedogenic is used for ingredients that clog the pores on our skin and cause blackheads and blemishes. If you have sensitive skin, you should not use comedogenic cosmetics and personal care products that contain ingredients that block your pores. If you do not do enough and good skin cleaning, it is inevitable that your skin health will deteriorate.
Studies on volunteer subjects should be conducted to prove claims such as "Non-Comedogenic", "Does not Clog pores" for cosmetic products. According to the product and the subject's skin structure, it can be interpreted whether it is "Comedogenic" by applying it to the backs of the volunteers for a few weeks in the test method.
