Apart from these mostly chemical substances, the common substance used in most cosmetic products is water.The water used in cosmetic products is as important as any other substance. Since it is one of the factors for the growth of microorganisms, especially in cosmetic products, it should be kept under control. The water used in cosmetic products should be evaluated primarily in terms of microorganisms.
The water used in cosmetic products is generally expected to be of drinking water quality. The use of water with a high microorganism load is a situation that affects the shelf life of the cosmetic product and consumer health. Therefore, it cannot be ignored.
